This winter rally ventures deep into the frozen and remote forests of north-eastern Sweden in Umeå. The compact event not only boasts a festival vibe, but is known as an iconic FIA World Rally Championship stop. Studded tyres provide remarkable grip on snow and ice, and yet it is paradoxically one of the championship's fastest rounds. With parties, live music, restaurant tents and the After Rally all going on around the Red Barn Arena, Rally Sweden was truly a winter festival for all.
